This limited edition of Talisker 25 Year Old – Special Release 2023, aged 25 years and bottled at 45.8% ABV, stands both in the classic lineage of well-matured whiskies and within the modern spirit of the Special Releases range. It beautifully embodies the spirit of the Isle of Skye: wild, distinctive, and deliciously maritime.

The distillation follows Talisker’s pure tradition: double distillation in a setup of two Wash Stills and three Spirit Stills, with worm tub condensers, giving the whisky its famously rich texture and pronounced “sea spray and salinity” character.

The maturation lasts 25 years, primarily in ex-Bourbon hogsheads, with a finishing component in Spanish Sherry casks, creating a rich marriage of fruity sweetness and woody spice. This combination of American and European oak delivers an elegant profile — both robust and refined.
