Description from the seller

GERMANY. Nuremberg-Fürth. 20 Pfennig. 1920.

- Value: 20 Pfennig.
- Year: 1920.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: urban architectural view with buildings and central tower, surrounded by the upper legend corresponding to the issuing city. Reverse: NÜRNBERG-FÜRTHER STRASSENBAHN · 20 PFENNIG, with the value centered inside a beaded circle.
- Grading: MS63 (NGC).

Emergency Notgeld minted in aluminum during the German postwar period, of characteristic polygonal shape, with detailed depiction of an urban ensemble on the obverse, executed in a sober and functional style. The reverse presents a clear and symmetric composition centered on the face value, with robust and well-defined typography. Example with full relief, clean fields and original satin gloss, showing minimal surface marks typical of the issue and fully coherent with its grade of preservation. A coin representative of the local German monetary system in the inflationary context of the early Weimar Republic.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped at your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
