A collection of Italian Second World War militaria in good condition, originating from Italy, authentic as originals, without a certificate of authenticity, including items such as the War Merit Cross with Vittorio Emanuele III monogram, the 1940–43 Commemorative Medal, the Guardia di Finanza Service Merit Cross, a commemorative document, Mussolini Elmato propaganda medal, Arditi d'Italia medal, and related items.
Description from the seller
1 - War Merit Cross (blue and white ribbon): This decoration was awarded for merits acquired in military operations. The specimen in the photo bears Vittorio Emanuele III's monogram on the obverse, typical of Kingdom of Italy versions.
2 - Commemorative Medal of the wartime period 1940-43 (ribbon with green and red stripes): Officially established in 1959 to replace the previous wartime insignia, it was awarded to personnel who had served at least three months during World War II.
3 - Service Merit Cross of the Guardia di Finanza (green ribbon with yellow borders): This piece is a decoration for long command or irreproachable service, dating to the Vittorio Emanuele III era.
4 - Document "Spiritual Will of the Duke of Aosta": This is a commemorative or propaganda sheet containing the final message of Amedeo of Savoy-Aosta, a prominent figure of World War II.
Medaglia "Mussolini Elmato"
5 - Propaganda medal depicting the profile of Benito Mussolini with a helmet. This type of medal was produced in various formats and metals (bronze or silvered metal) during the Fascist era. This version reproduces on the reverse exactly the design of the 20 Lire coin.
6 - Medal of the Arditi d'Italia "Ardisco non Ordisco":
Front: Depicts a helmeted head in profile. Back: Shows the circular inscription "ARDITI D'ITALIA" followed by the dates in Roman numerals of World War I: XXIV-V-MCMXV (24 May 1915, Italy's entry into the war) and IV-XI-MCMXVIII (4 November 1918, armistice). In the center stands the well-known motto "ARDISCO NON ORDISCO". Bronze, diameter about 22 mm.
7 - Commemorative Medal "National Pilgrimage of Redipuglia and Gorizia"
8 - Case with a mark by Mario Pesce, a renowned historic medalist of Rome (V. Regina Margherita, 73), active during the Kingdom of Italy period. The medal housed inside is not contemporary (see point 9)).
9 - Medal of the 1st National Gathering of the 3rd Bersaglieri Regiment, held in Milan on 18 June 1975. On the reverse is the circular inscription "1° RADUNO NAZIONALE DEL TERZO" with the place and date in the center "MILANO 18.6.75". It is accompanied by the classic Italian tricolor ribbon (green, white and red).
10 - Anillo of the Falange Española, a historical relic dating to the period of the Spanish Civil War and World War II. The upper crest depicts the yoke and arrows (Yugo y Flechas), the official symbol of the Falange.
