Description from the seller
Germany. Karlsruhe. 50 Pfennig. 1921.
- Value: 50 Pfennig.
- Year: 1921.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: GUTE ERNTE · DEUTSCHES REICH. Reverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 50 PFENNIG · 1921.
- Grade: MS64 (NGC).
Aluminum coin issued during the Weimar Republic, corresponding to the well-known “Gute Ernte” type, with a stylized sheaf of ears on the obverse, of marked symbolic character and clean design, representing agricultural prosperity after World War I. The reverse shows the face value 50 Pfennig in sturdy typography, surrounded by the national motto, within a beaded frame that provides balance to the whole. A specimen in excellent condition for the type, with very sharp relief, satin fields and original luster well preserved, standing out for its visual freshness and attractive homogeneous metallic tone.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
