Commemorative coin issued on the occasion of the Seventh Southeast Asian Games (SEAP Games) held in Singapore in 1973. On one of its faces is shown the national shield of Singapore flanked by two rampant lions, accompanied by the national motto “Majulah Singapura.” On the other, the Singapore National Stadium appears crowned by the floral emblem of the games, with the denomination “5 Dollars” at the bottom. A specimen of careful minting, with clean surfaces, original mint lustre well preserved and full relief, representative of the modern Southeast Asian commemorative coin.
