Triumph 2000, a 1967 manual petrol saloon located in Spain, with 16,696 km, matching numbers and colours, Spanish registration papers and a very good overall condition.
Description from the seller
We present this magnificent classic English saloon, the typical eighties-style beauty you see in British films and series. A true Triumph 2000.
A sedan with a powerful six-cylinder engine and a manual gearbox, a very exclusive car which, outside of England, is a rare bird.
Its condition is excellent, with bright, largely original paint in its original blue color. It shows no rust and the undercarriage is in magnificent shape. It would benefit from a light polish and a protective paint due to time, since it has lost some of that as well.
Nevertheless, it has always been kept in a garage and, in Spain’s climate, has remained in this magnificent state.
Internally, its condition is excellent, with Bordeaux red leather magnificently cared for and detailed. The headliner, door panels and plastics are likewise in enviable condition. Only the woods, in some places, will need some restoration since the varnish has cracked over time in certain spots. A minor detail with an easy solution.
Mechanically the car runs fantastically and has been very well preserved. The sound of the inline-six is very smooth and the gearbox works very well.
Currently it does not require an ITV inspection because its owner kept it as part of a collection with other classics and hasn’t used this one much in the last year, but there is a complete history of all the ITV inspections it has passed throughout its life. It would not be a problem to deliver it with the ITV up to date and as a historic vehicle if the client requests it and we discuss it.
As we noted, the undercarriage has no rust.
The boot is lined with its original carpet in perfect condition.
Spanish registration, in a way that allows easy transfer.
It is a unit that arrived directly to Spain in its era.
Its overall operation is very good and its overall condition of preservation is spectacular.
A unit that has not been restored.
And of course LHD, steering wheel on the European side (not the English side) since its manufacture, very rare for this model.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
