Originele met de hand ingekleurde lithografie uit 1973 van Belgische schrijven en beeldend kunstenaar/kunstschilder en graficus Paul Snoek (1933-1981) op prachtig geconserveerd handgeschept papier. Goede staat van het papier en van het kunstwerk! Zeer kleurrijk en helder. 

Lithografie werd in 1973 uitgegeven onder portfolio 'Frankenstein'. Mooie uitgave met kleurrijke, surrealistische 'screens'. Uitgegeven te Antwerpen, Pink Editions & Productions.

Handgetekend en genummerd met potlood door de kunstenaar op 200 exemplaren - losbladig (eerste druk).

EXTRA INFO KUNSTENAAR: 
Paul Snoek was het pseudoniem van Edmond André Coralie Schietekat (geboren op 17 december 1933 in Sint-Niklaas, België – overleden 19 oktober 1981 in Tielt, België). Snoek was een veelzijdig kunstenaar: dichter, prozaschrijver en beeldend kunstenaar (schilder/grafisch kunstenaar).

Al op jonge leeftijd toonde hij interesse in schilderen en literatuur. Tijdens zijn studententijd kwam hij in contact met experimentele Nederlandse en Belgische kunst- en literaire kringen, waaronder de Cobra-beweging en de Vlaamse Vijfenvijftigers.

In 1955 was hij medeoprichter van het avant-gardistisch tijdschrift Gard Sivik, samen met collega-experimentelen zoals Gust Gils en Hugues C. Pernath.

Snoek schilderde aanvankelijk in een stijl die aansloot bij de Cobra-beweging, en raakte later opnieuw actief in de beeldende kunst vanaf ongeveer 1972, waarna hij zich vrijwel uitsluitend aan de schilderkunst wijdde. Hij experimenteerde ook met assemblage-objecten (“Snoekquariums”).

Als kunstenaar stond Snoek niet enkel in de literatuur, maar ook in de schilderkunst tussen modernisme, avant-garde en persoonlijke expressie – hij maakte zowel abstracte als figuratieve werken.
