Davide Marescotti - original illustration, acrylic, cm 100 x 70

Born in 1979, he trained in comics between art high school and several sector schools, eventually doing a workshop with the Bonelli illustrator Giovanni Talami. Over the years he has worked as an illustrator for numerous Italian and international publishing houses, creating covers and illustrations for novels, role-playing game manuals and editorial series — among his clients are Edicolors, WildBoar, Dreamlord Press, Raven Distribution and Barn Owl. He also signed the poster for the film The Mythos Murders and some animations for the graphic adventure Dylan Dog Horror Luna Park (Rizzoli). His experience ranges from portraits and murals to tattoos, trompe l’oeil and music covers. He has taught comics in public schools and is currently a lecturer at the Nuova Scuola Chiavarese del Fumetto, where he leads drawing courses, professional comics and a master. He also serves as Graphic Editor for the comic series The Darkwinged.

This is one of the original illustrations created in November 2025 within the Performance Area of the Lucca Comics & Games international festival.
