Very beautiful and antique centerpiece, table centerpiece signed "F. BARBEDIENNE" for Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810-1892), famous Parisian founder. It is also stamped with an "L" under the base. Estimated period: second half of the 19th century. It can serve as a trinket bowl or a centerpiece. Object of very good and fine manufacture with lovely details such as heart-shaped leaves for the handles. Ferdinand Barbedienne is considered one of the best French founders if not the best by specialists. In the center of the bowl, there is a medallion depicting the head of an ancient Greek woman wearing a laurel wreath and a knot at the back of her hair. Very good condition.
