Rare object, Studio Cristal having had a short existence. In 1989, the Val St Lambert glassworks continued their activities under the name Studio Cristal (or Studio Crystal in Dutch) following the purchase of the company by Belgian businessman Patrick Depuydt. He, however, had to get rid of it in 1995 and the Val returned to the hands of the Region which created the new S.A "Cristallerie du Val Saint-Lambert".

The Val-Saint-Lambert glassworks were created in 1826 on the site of an old abbey in Seraing, near Liège, Belgium. World-renowned, they enjoyed intense and high-quality production.
