Chess set - Bone

Beautiful bone chess set from China. The beautifully hand-carved chess pieces sit in a box with inlays for the pieces. The box is 32 wide and cm high. The bone chess pieces are nicely proportioned, the king is 8.5 cm and the pawns 6.5 cm. The pieces depict figures in traditional clothing, pagodas as towers, and horses in an eastern style. A few pieces (see photos) are slightly deformed over the years. Included is an old wooden chessboard 31x31. Insured shipping from the Netherlands.
