Ancient Roman glass perfume/ointment bottle dating to the 1st–3rd century AD, in excellent condition, 17 cm high and 7.5 × 7.5 cm at the base, acquired from a UK gallery/antique dealer in 2025 with provenance from a private London collection.

- The glass-making technique that the Romans had perfected was so refined that it is still used today in the traditional Murano glassworks in Venice, Italy. This technique made it possible to create vases with extremely thin and refined glass walls, transforming glass from a functional product to a luxury product.
