1-Centavo gold coin belonging to the early issues of the Dominican Republic, characterized by a sober design with a clearly classical inspiration. The obverse shows the national legend arranged in a circular form with the date centered, on broad and well-prepared fields that enhance the coin's original luster. The reverse features the face value UN CENTAVO inside a stylized vegetal crown, balanced and finely engraved, contributing visual harmony to the overall piece. The specimen retains sharp relief, satin-bright fields and an attractive uniform golden tone, with minimal contact marks typical of minting, offering an exceptional presence in keeping with its high grade MS65.
