Rega - PL-6 Record player

The Planar 6 is built on the enormous success of the RP8- and RP10-turntables. It is the first new Rega turntable to be built with an ultralightweight Tancast 8 core plinth made of polyurethane foam (a material developed for the aerospace industry). This material is clamped between a new HPL (high-pressure laminate). HPL is exceptionally thin and yet incredibly stiff and is presented in a beautiful finish. The Planar 6 now benefits from a one-piece aluminum sub-platter, a new 24 V motor that is hand-tuned and matched to its own Neo power supply and a custom drive pulley that comes standard with the upgraded drive belt.

This player has been used very little and is, unfortunately, being sold due to a separation. The player has been assembled, tested once and promptly returned to the box due to the separation. In effect you are buying a premium record player at a discount, in new condition. The player was purchased at iEar (proof of purchase available) and is now available new for €2,199.

Due to its fragility the player can only be collected.
