A lot of 14 antique and vintage steel chisels and a drawknife from Japan, dating to 1940–1950, in used condition with patina and possibly small parts missing.
Description from the seller
Nice lot of 14 antique and vintage wood chisels, complemented by a classic drawknife. The set consists of an interesting mix of European and Japanese chisels in various models and widths.
The lot includes several quality brands, including E.A. Berg (Eskilstuna, Sweden) and J.N.J Garantie, alongside other older workshop chisels. These brands are known for their good steel and were widely used by carpenters and cabinetmakers.
The set includes both firmer chisels and wider paring or carpenter's chisels, suitable for different woodworking techniques. The drawknife with wooden handles is ideal for rough work such as shaping wood, peeling logs, or traditional craft work.
All pieces are in used condition with nice workshop patina. Some chisels show signs of use or storage, which fits perfectly with old tools. With a refresh or sharpening, they become fully usable again.
An interesting lot for woodworkers, collectors of old tools, or lovers of traditional craftsmanship.
