Description
Caesar presents a scene of clear classical resonance, a central figure elevated, nearly divine, crowned with laurel, supported by two figures who seem to debate between devotion and betrayal. The vertical composition reinforces the idea of power and vulnerability at the same time, while the red cloth, a symbol of authority, blood, and fate, falls like an inevitable omen. The expressive brushwork and the color-charged atmosphere turn the historical episode into an timeless reflection on power, downfall, and the fragility of the hero.
