Four-piece WMF Art Deco Überfang crystal glass set from Germany (1960–1970), including a blue vase, green and blue drinking glasses, and a dark red spherical bowl, all in very good used condition with minimal signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Item: Collection of high-quality overlay-cut crystal glass.
Technique: Mouth-blown, hand-cut (diamond-cut/star-cut).
Colors: cobalt blue, emerald green and a deep ruby red (appearing almost black).
This set stands out for the classic overlay technique, where colored glass is combined with clear crystal and refined with precise cuts. The light refracts especially beautifully in the deep geometric patterns.
The set includes:
• Large vase (blue): Elegant goblet form with star and lens cut.
• Two drinking glasses / tumblers (green & blue): Solid crystal, perfect as whisky or water glasses.
• Ball-shaped bowl/vase (dark red): A heavy, spherical bowl with elaborate all-around cutting.
Condition:
The pieces are in very good used condition. No major damage or deep scratches detectable. The cut is sharp-edged and clear.
