Author:
Wiktor Bezrukow (real name Piotr Łagucik), born in 1972, is a painter from Białystok known for his distinctive, warm figurative scenes. He studied at the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Supraśl and later scenography at “Schola Posnaniensis” in Poznań, which shaped his sensitivity to detail, light and composition. His paintings often feature musicians, instruments, café tables, cups of espresso, angels and cats – ordinary moments of everyday life turned into small, poetic performances. The artist combines inspirations from Impressionism with contemporary decorative painting: soft, luminous patches of colour build the mood, while slightly exaggerated figures add a touch of humour. Bezrukow paints mainly in oil on canvas, creating works that fit well both in private homes and in public interiors. His paintings regularly appear at contemporary art auctions and find their way into collections in Poland and abroad.
