Un iconico guscio di elmetto tedesco modello M16 (Stahlhelm), risalente alla Prima Guerra Mondiale. Questo modello è facilmente riconoscibile per i caratteristici bulloni di aerazione laterali, progettati anche per sostenere la piastra rinforzata protettiva (Stirnpanzer).

​Condizioni: Guarda le immagini, poiché fanno parte della descrizione.
​Note sulla vernice: L'elmetto è stato presumibilmente riverniciato in epoca successiva (post-bellica). La finitura attuale presenta segni di pennellate e copre la patina originale, fungendo tuttavia da strato protettivo per il metallo sottostante.
​Componenti: Sono presenti i tre rivetti originali e gli attacchi interni. Mancano l'imbottitura e il soggolo.
​Punzonature: Non sono visibili marchi di fabbrica o taglie, probabilmente coperti dallo spessore della vernice.

WWI German M16 "Stahlhelm" Helmet - Original Steel Shell
​Description:
Up for auction is an iconic German M16 model helmet shell (Stahlhelm) from the First World War. This model is easily identified by its distinctive lateral ventilation lugs, which were also designed to support the optional frontal armored plate (Stirnpanzer).
​Item Details:
​Model: M16 (World War I).
​Condition: See pictures, as they are part of the description.
​Paint Note: The helmet has presumably been repainted at a later date (post-war). The current finish shows visible brush strokes and covers the original wartime patina, though it serves as a protective layer for the metal.
​Components: Includes the three original liner rivets and internal attachment points. Liner and chin strap are missing.
​Markings: No factory stamps or size heat lots are visible, likely due to the thickness of the later paint layer.
​A 100% authentic piece of history, perfect for a restoration project or as a standout addition to any WWI militaria collection.
