A rare, matching pair of tall Italian mid-century modern coat racks from the mid‑century, manufactured in the 1960s. Each panel features sculptural hooks of bent wood and elegantly curved pedestals, showcasing the elegance and innovation of Italian design from that era.

The panels are veneered with rich walnut wood, with the hooks and pedestals crafted using a traditional steam-bending technique. Thin sheets of veneer were heated, pressed, and bent under pressure, resulting in smooth, organic forms that are both strong and lightweight. This refined process was already widely admired in Italian furniture ateliers of the period and gives these pieces their distinctive architectural look.
