Magnificent French mantel clock by Japy Frères, renowned clockmaker of the 19th century. This gilded bronze clock of splendid workmanship features an elaborate design of intricate floral and scroll details and a noble figure of a girl standing beside the clock. Base in beautiful alabaster marble. A true collectible piece that embodies the elegance and craftsmanship of French clockmaking in the 19th century.

Conditions: excellent condition, aged patina with signs of wear consistent with age. Original enamel dial characterized by Roman numerals.

Movement present - The clock movement is intact and complete with pendulum and key (not tested).
