This is a very rare and unique turntable, specially for the true enthusiast. The construction and the condition make this player unique. The design is characterized by the chic materials, combined with the decorative panel and the edge. The cover is slightly curved and darkly tinted, making the gray platter still visible, very nicely made.
This is a fantastic device in technical terms. A fully automatic player with the famous tangential tonearm. This technology, developed by B&O since the 1970s, provides the best possible music playback. The needle of the record is not placed at another angle in the groove, as with the well-known “radial” turntables, but perfectly straight into the groove, as the record itself is cut. This creates the best contact between the needle and the vinyl and all the nuances in the music are perfectly reproduced. An additional advantage is the extremely low stylus pressure of only 1.2 grams, so wear on your needle and record collection is minimized.
A press of “play” is enough to start the player, the turntable starts, checks the size of the record and lets the tonearm descend exactly into the groove. The speed is also chosen automatically.
