Art Deco ceiling lamp – 1920s – cut glass and brass fixture
An elegant and characterful Art Deco ceiling lamp from the 1920s, where craftsmanship, luxurious materials and geometric design come together. This lamp is a beautiful example of the style that characterized the interwar period: refined, decorative and at the same time sharply designed.
The lamp consists of a richly decorated copper/brass ceiling plate with a beautiful relief of stylized ornaments, typical for the Art Deco period. The warm patina of the brass emphasizes the age and gives the whole an authentic look.
The shade is made of cut and partly matte glass in an elegant teardrop shape. The geometric facets catch and break the light in a particularly atmospheric way, creating a soft and diffused light that fits perfectly in a classical interior.
