The General Electric GE 7-2990A, also known as the World Monitor, is a high-quality portable multiband radio from the early 1980s. In Europe it is offered only rarely. Although it bears the GE brand, it was manufactured by Panasonic in Japan, contributing to its reputation for excellent build quality and sensitivity of reception.
It is a 6-band portable radio in good condition, here and there with very light signs of aging. This does not apply to the technical condition.
The radio has a well-functioning frequency counter, a working signal meter, light and reception.
There are very good reviews on the internet, e.g., Ham.net.
