Christofle - Cutlery set (146) - Vendôme - Silverplated

I am selling a prestigious Christofle cutlery service, once belonging to my family. The set comprises a total of 146 pieces, of which 131 are housed in the cabinet and 15 spare/complementary pieces.

Set details:
The main service is for 12 people (only one fish fork missing, 11 instead of 12). It includes a wide selection of rare serving pieces, including ladles, spatulas, and a beautiful crystal and silver salt/pepper shaker with a tray marked 'Honnorat Marseille'.

The Cabinet: dimensions 50 cm x 37 cm x 33 cm
"The service is kept in its original four-drawer cabinet. On the frame there is a period plaque, which, in line with the marks on the internal accessories (salt shaker), points to the prestigious Honnorat company of Marseille, historic partner of Christofle.

Details and condition of the cabinet:
The cabinet is solid and the original locking mechanism works, though it shows the usual play due to age (a bit 'loose'). The following signs of time are noted:
• A natural crack in the wood about 10 cm long on one side: it does not seem due to impact, but rather to the natural settling of the wood over time.
• The top panel needs re-gluing.
• There are some adhesive tape marks (used for security during a move) that I have not removed to avoid damaging the original finish, leaving the intervention to a professional.
• The small original key is missing.

Condition:
The cutlery is in excellent condition, used with care and retains its original shine.
