Vintage GUB Glashütte Chronograph – UROFA Calibre 64 – circa 1950
An attractive and historically important German two-register chronograph produced in Glashütte and powered by the renowned UROFA Calibre 64 manual-wind chronograph movement.
This calibre represents one of the key chronograph movements of post-war German watchmaking and is increasingly appreciated by collectors.
The watch features its original tachymeter dial with applied Arabic numerals, showing honest and even vintage patina that adds strong character. Elegant gold-tone hands complement the classic mid-century design.
The gold-plated case remains in pleasing vintage condition, with a stainless steel caseback signed on the outside. The movement is running and the chronograph functions correctly.
