Statue, Ragazzo con pesce - 38 cm - Bronze

Bronze statue from my private collection. A high-quality, dark-patina bronze statue from the late 19th century, depicting the "Pescatorello" by Giovanni Varlese (1888–1922, Naples).
This sculpture depicts a boy fisherman, happy to have finished his catch, standing on a rock with a crab walking beside him.
He wears a large hat that protects him from the sun, and his face is smiling and cheerful.
