Sergio Raugi (XX) - Coppia di pagliacci

Sergio Raugi (1936-2013) was a Livorno-born painter known as the "painter of the circus".
The two canvases depict clowns among the artist's preferred subjects, the year of attribution of which is uncertain.
The dimensions are 45 x 75 cm.
The two paintings have been in a private home since 1965 and have remained in the same owner's possession to today.
The condition of the canvases is very good, while the frames show some defects due to age.
The shipment of the paintings is planned with the frames.
