All automatic watches must be wound at first use; relying on wrist movement alone is not sufficient to maintain the necessary power reserve.

RULE FOR ALL WATCHEs WITH DATE
To avoid potential damage to the mechanism, please do not set the date using the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00. It is recommended to set the date with the crown when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55. (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Don’t forget to reseal the crown properly after adjusting.)
