I grew up surrounded by these wooden platforms suspended over the Adriatic Sea, symbols of resilience and a unique connection between land and water. Dating back to at least the 18th century, trabocchi allowed fishermen to cast their nets without setting sail, evolving over time into cultural landmarks, many of which now serve as scenic seaside restaurants. Each table in the Stilts collection captures the essence of these iconic structures, blending Resined travertine tops with steel legs finished in gold leaf. The scratched gold texture interacts with the natural travertine veins, mirroring the contrast between the aged wood of the trabocchi and the shimmering reflections of the sea.
