Description from the seller

- Origin: Sahara / Sahel (West Africa)
- Tribe name: Tuareg
- Material: Double-edged steel blade, handle in wood and brass/nickel-silver, sheath in green-dyed leather and metal.

Beautiful traditional Tuareg dagger (Gozma / Telek), typical of the nomadic populations of the Sahara. This 20th-century artisanal piece is complete with its sheath richly engraved with protective geometric motifs and its original braided carrying cord. The grip features a beautiful alternation of dark wood (ebony) and metal, topped by the characteristic pommel with stacked domes and cones.

Forged double-edged blade testifying to its authenticity. The sheath holds the blade perfectly. A very beautiful piece for a collection.
