Set of 2 vintage Japanese kitchen knives – Santoku & Kogatana (sharp)

Nice set of vintage Japanese kitchen knives consisting of a Santoku all-round knife and a Kogatana blade for fine cutting.

Classic Japanese knives with a thinly ground blade and good balance, suitable for precise and comfortable work in the kitchen.

The Santoku knife (total length ±30 cm) is a versatile kitchen knife for cutting meat, fish and vegetables. The blade is marked KaiCut MV 4000 and made from molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel, a steel type known for its good sharpness and wear resistance.

The Kogatana knife (total length ±21 cm) is a compact Japanese knife that is ideal for precision work, peeling and small cutting tasks.

Both knives have dark wooden handles with rivets and are in used vintage condition with light patina and signs of wear on the blades, appropriate to their age and use.

The knives are sharp and ready to use.
