The label says: Degani Giulio di Eugenio ... anno 1920 fece in Venezia
This violin is in an excellent used condition, beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods, perfect details all over. The purfling is professionally executed, the edges are masterfully done. There are some tears and wears but no cracks.
The softly flamed two pieces maple back measures 354 mm. The total length of the violin is 587 mm. Width of the upper bout: 16,9 cm; middle: 11,2 cm; lower: 21,1 cm. Good old ebony set up, Vision strings, old master made bridge. The sound is powerful, rich, sweet.
