~ Elegant Catholic Chasuble in Roman violin (fiddleback) style, intended for celebrating the Holy Mass during the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent

~ Era: Late 19th / early 20th century (ca. 1880–1930)

~ The vestment is made of deep purple silk velvet, with a gold/yellow silk lining. The entire surface is enriched with refined embroidery in gold thread featuring motifs of volutes, botanical scrolls, and stylized flowers. On the front sits the IHS Christogram topped by a cross, executed in raised embroidery in gold thread

~ Chasuble in Roman form (fiddleback), with the characteristic lobed profile on the sides. Dimensions: Height approx. 90 cm, Width approx. 65 cm

~ Provenance: Italy, ecclesiastical manufacturing
