Table lamp - Metal, Brass, Plastic - Atomic Age

Atomic Age" desk lamp from the late 1950s. This piece is a fantastic example of the era's fascination with geometric, rocket-inspired forms. It features a unique pale green conical head ring that holds a translucent white bulb cover.

The triangular-profile stem is lacquered in white and inlaid with a solid brass face. The lamp is mounted on a minimalist circular white base. A brass wing-nut adjuster allows the angle of the head to be tilted, while the original push-button switch is located on the rear of the stem.

The lamp is in good vintage condition with an authentic aged patina. The white lacquer on the base and stem shows some minor scuffing and signs of use consistent with its 70-year history. The wiring has been tested and is functional.
