Duża, secesyjna figura wykonana z brązu srebrzonego autorstwa Adrien Étienne Gaudez. Figura przymocowana na kamiennej podstawie. Pochodzenie: Francja, koniec XIX w. Stan bardzo dobry, widoczne niewielkie przetarcia srebrzenia.
Wysokość całkowita - 45 cm

Adrien Étienne Gaudez urodził się 2 lutego 1845 roku w Lyonie we Francji, zmarł w 1902. Był uczniem Francois Jouffroy w École des Beaux-Arts w Paryżu w 1862 r. Debiutował na Salonie Paryskim w 1864 r. Pracował prawie wyłącznie w brązie i stworzył wiele rzeźb o różnek tematyce, od scen rodzajowych po tematy militarne i patriotyczne. Jego wcześniejsze prace miały głównie charakter klasyczny, ale w dalszej części swojej kariery tworzył dzieła, które można zaklasyfikować do secesji.

Był jeńcem wojennym wojny francusko-pruskiej w 1870 r. Mając wiedzę z pierwszej ręki o wojnie, wykonał pomnik ku czci francuskich jeńców przetrzymywanych w Magdeburgu przez siły pruskie. Pomnik został wzniesiony na miejskim cmentarzu. Brał udział w Salonie Paryskim w 1878 r. z gipsową rzeźbą Dzieciństwo Jowisza.

Gaudez zmarł w Neuilly-sur-Seine we Francji 23 stycznia 1902 roku.
