SILVER BELT BUCKLE WITH CLOISONNÉ ENAMELS – IMPERIAL RUSSIA – TITLE 84 – 19th CENTURY
Silver belt buckle from the Imperial Russian era, decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamels. The dense, refined design features vegetal scrolls and floral motifs enamelled in turquoise, blue, green, red, and white tones, created with twisted cloison wires typical of 19th-century Russian metalwork.
The two parts of the buckle are connected by their original chain, and the closure system is complete and functional.
On the reverse: oval hallmark “84” corresponding to the Russian silver standard (875/1000) used before 1917, accompanied by an unidentified master mark.
Dimensions: 8.5 × 6.5 cm
Condition: good overall; enamels well preserved, slight wear on the reverse side.
