Clock - Smiths Enfield - Bakelite - 1960-1970

Before you stands a bakelite mantel clock in perfect condition of English manufacture.
The maker is Smiths Enfield. Started in 1932 as Smiths and during World War II merged into Smiths Enfield.
The clock is indeed about 70 years old, but the term is perfectly apt, both with regard to the case and the movement.
Therefore no chips, scratches, dents or other problems.
The gong can be heard at every full and half hour but is also easily switched off if desired.
Both doors close nicely and, of course, the pendulum and key are present.
It features an eight-day movement and the clock has been running here at home for quite some time to full satisfaction.
