Elegante pannello ornamentale in legno intagliato, realizzato con notevole perizia artigianale e caratterizzato da una composizione simmetrica di gusto naturalistico.

La struttura è dominata da due grandi rapaci affrontati, scolpiti a tutto rilievo, con ali spiegate e piumaggio finemente inciso. Le figure, dinamiche ma armoniose, si sviluppano lungo i lati della composizione sostenendo idealmente il medaglione centrale e creando una cornice vegetale ricca di movimento. La lavorazione evidenzia un’accurata resa delle penne, con intagli profondi e modulati che conferiscono tridimensionalità.

Al centro si inserisce un medaglione ovale in rilievo, decorato con una delicata scena naturalistica. Un ramo fiorito scolpito con grande sensibilità botanica e, in basso, un piccolo uccellino posato su una fontanella o vaschetta ornamentale. Il motivo richiama l’iconografia romantica della natura domestica e campestre.

La sommità presenta un coronamento traforato a motivo vegetale stilizzato, quasi una piccola cimasa araldica, mentre le estremità inferiori terminano con eleganti elementi fogliacei e riccioli scolpiti.

Il legno, di tonalità calda e patinata dal tempo, mostra una finitura brunita che valorizza i volumi dell’intaglio e mette in risalto le ombreggiature naturali delle scanalature.
