Plasgezicht is an oil painting on canvas by Bernard Koldeweij from the 19th century, depicting a landscape, hand-signed, 60 by 80 cm, originated from the Netherlands.

Bernardus Marie (Bernard) Koldeweij (Dordrecht, 23 November 1859 - there, 17 December 1898) was a Dutch painter, draftsman and watercolourist.

Life and Work
He was born in 1859 in Dordrecht, the son of the shopkeeper Bernardus Johannes Koldeweij and Pauline Marie Josephine Masion. Koldeweij studied at the Academy of Drawing in Antwerp and there he studied with Théophile de Bock, Roland Larij, Cornelis Johannes de Vogel and Johannes Gijsbert Vogel. He worked in Dordrecht and Antwerp among other places. When in 1891 it became clear that Koldeweij was seriously ill, he undertook trips to Corsica, Switzerland and Italy (Florence).
Koldeweij was a member of Teekengenootschap Pictura in Dordrecht. In Nunspeet he was around 1896 admitted into a group of Maurits Constantijn Lapidoth with Gerrit Haverkamp, Henri Wouters, Jan Apol, Zeegers and Jan Kleintjes.[1] After leaving Nunspeet he went to Blaricum. Shortly thereafter he died in Dordrecht at the age of 39. With his painting "the Zwijndrecht ferry-boat" Koldeweij earned the Small Gold Medal in Munich in 1897.[2]
In 1886 and 1887 his work was exhibited together with that of Jan Veth at the Dordrecht Museum.[3] In 1982 his work was exhibited at the Dordrecht Museum.[4] His work is regarded as part of the Dordrecht Impressionism.[5]
