Description:
A fine, slender twig with small, duotone leaves transforms into 'fire' with flames in shades from peach to pink.
The image gains its depth and dynamism by giving it movement with the lens.

The name of the work is a simple reference to the color palette and is part of a series of similar works.

Printing process:
Fine art giclée print on William Turner paper by Hahnemühle. The paper has a pronounced watercolor texture making the blending colors come out beautifully. The paper is made of 100% cotton, fully acid-free and OBA-free.

About the artist:
The artist aims in her abstract photography for abstraction and a certain degree of simplicity. Dynamics and stillness are recurring themes, also in this series of works.
The artist continually seeks in her experimental approach to get to the core: what remains if you remove everything except form, rhythm, light/dark and color.
