Davenport - Platter - Pearlware - Rare Meat Drainer

Rare Regency-Era "Chinoiserie Ruins" Pearlware Meat Drainer, c. 1820. A stunning Early 19th-century (c. 1810–1825) pearlware meat drainer, exquisitely decorated with the "Chinoiserie Ruins" transfer-printed pattern. This elegant piece features a detailed landscape of ancient architectural ruins, a central palm tree, and a lush floral and foliate border. Historically designed to sit within a large matching platter to allow juices to drain through the pierced holes, these drainers are now prized by collectors as standalone works of art for wall display or dresser arrangement. Condition: Perfect Museum-Quality Condition. No chips, cracks, or restoration. The transfer is crisp, and the glaze remains bright and lustrous with no significant crazing. Markings: Impressed numbered mark to the reverse. Dimensions: Length 32.5 cm | Width 20.5 cm | Height 1.5 cm. Your item will be carefully packaged and shipped with full track and trace for your peace of mind; local pickup is also warmly welcomed in Ekeren (Antwerp), Belgium.
