A pair of antique British-style carriage lanterns dating from 1940–1950, made of brass, iron and glass, with a square glass housing, a tapered cylindrical base, a locking glass door, original removable fuel canisters with wick holders, measuring 14 × 6 × 6 cm and 6 × 4 × 4 cm for the fuel tanks, in good working order and with a warm brass patina.

A stunning pair of antique British-style carriage lanterns, crafted from polished brass. These lanterns were originally used for horse-drawn carriages or early vintage automobiles. They have a beautiful golden patina that shows their true age and historical character.
Design: Square-shaped glass housing with a tapered cylindrical base and a circular heat vent top. Features a unique and functional locking latch on the glass doors.
Fuel Reservoirs: Includes both original removable fuel canisters with wick holders.
Dimensions: 14 x 6 x 6 cm (Main body).
Fuel Tank Size: 6 x 4 x 4 cm.
Condition: Excellent antique condition. The glass panels are all intact and original with no cracks. The brass has a lovely warm color.
