Cristalleria Empoli - Drinking set (6) - Crystal

Set of 6 long drink glasses embellished with a mount in solid silver marked 978 Fi (Florence) 925 of pure silver, handmade on a lathe with extreme care. The rim is obtained by rotating the silver sheet on itself and folded under the base of the glass itself; this was done to skillfully reinforce the entire mount so that it is integral with the body of the glass. Aesthetically as well, the glass presents a sober, elegant, and clean line. From the hallmark stamped on the silver part, it is evident that the glasses were made between 1980 and 1985 by the Florentine silversmith and craftsman and the clear crystal produced by Empoli Crystal Works.
