Vintage Human Anatomical Torso Model – Medical Model for Educational Purposes – Removable Organs – Mid-20th Century
Description
This is a vintage human anatomy torso model produced for use in schools and medical training.
The model shows the internal organs of the human body (lungs, heart, stomach, and intestines). Some organs are removable, allowing for a more detailed examination of the internal structure of the human body.
These types of anatomical models were widely used as educational materials in biology classes, hospitals, and medical schools throughout the 20th century. Today, they are popular both as scientific collector's items and as decorative pieces.
The torso is hand-painted and mounted on a base. The internal organs consist of removable parts for educational purposes.
These types of models were generally produced in Europe (mostly Germany or Central Europe) using plaster, papier-mâché (paper pulp), or composite materials.
