Description from the seller

Fiorellini on Blue Vision is a refined piece of digital art created from an original photograph taken by the artist and subsequently reinterpreted using as background the image of one of her paintings, Blue Vision. The work represents a dialogue between photography and painting, blending natural reality with abstract creation into a unique and harmonious composition.
In the foreground emerge delicate clusters of tiny white flowers, developing with lightness on thin curved stems, as if suspended in a silent and contemplative space. The flowers appear luminous and at the same time fragile, achieved with subtle tonal variations that preserve the softness and authenticity of the original photograph.
Behind them opens an abstract blue background derived from the Blue Vision painting. Its fluid textures and soft color transitions evoke water, sky, or an inner dreamlike landscape. The interaction between the precise natural forms of the flowers and the expressive and ethereal painterly field generates a sense of depth and quiet movement, as if the flowers floated within an inner vision rather than in a physical environment.
Light plays a central symbolic role in the composition. The small light petals seem to gather and reflect the surrounding blue luminosity, suggesting purity, calm, and the presence of an inner light that emerges gently. Fiorellini on Blue Vision invites the viewer to contemplate the subtle beauty of the smallest and often overlooked natural elements, and their capacity to convey serenity and spiritual harmony.
Realized through a digital transformation process, Fiorellini on Blue Vision does not merely superimpose two images, but reinterprets them into a unified visual experience. The photograph becomes painting, and the painting becomes atmosphere, dissolving the boundary between observation and imagination.
Barbara S. Stamegna, contemporary Roman artist and Knight of Culture, has received important national and international recognitions including the Premio Oscar per le Arti Visive in Castrocaro Terme, the Gran Premio d’Italia, the Premio Coppa Pacis in Florence, the Premio Milanart, the Premio Europa Art Mediolanum, and the International Prize Portugal (Lisbon).
She has exhibited in prestigious venues in Italy, including the renowned Via Margutta in Rome, and abroad with solo and group shows, participating several times in Artexpo New York. In 2023 she presented a four-month solo show “Le Vie dello Spirito” at the prestigious Palazzo Caetani in Cisterna di Latina (Italy).
Barbara S. Stamegna’s works are part of public and private collections in the United States and Europe.
Her artistic research is deeply linked to themes of inner exploration, spirituality, and the symbolic power of light.
Due to differences between computer screens and possible variations caused by online image compression, the colors and brightness of the photograph may appear slightly different from the original work.
Artwork proposed directly by the artist.
