Description from the seller
Elegant pair of Empire/neoclassical style table lamps, vintage mid-20th century (likely converted from old candlesticks).
• Base: Fluted metal column with a deep black patina (bronze or art bronze), stable square base in wood or black patinated metal. Applied gilt bronze mounts: rings/draped garlands around the column, very decorative and typical of French Empire style.
• Shaft: Molded capital and base, golden accents contrasting superbly with the black patina.
• Lampshade: Two conical lampshades in satiny black fabric, with golden interior lining for beautiful light reflection.
Elegant Regency/Empire style perfect for bedroom or sitting room.
Electrified with standard E14 socket & inline switch. Functional and ready to use.
Very good condition with nearly new shades and light signs of ware to the bases.
