Silver pendant made from an original 5-Mark silver coin – German Reich 1907 (Saxony)

Silver pendant crafted from an original 5-Mark coin of the German Empire, year 1907, Kingdom of Saxony. The coin shows on the obverse the portrait of King Friedrich August III of Saxony, on the reverse the crowned imperial eagle with the denomination FÜNF MARK.

The coin has been professionally set into a circulating silver bezel and given a sturdy loop. It is not punched through. Through the bezel the piece today is to be regarded as jewelry pendant and no longer as a classic circulating or collector coin.
