I offer these three - drachms / Sassanids 600 - 700 AD.
Kingdom: King Xusro ||.
The Sassanids established the second Persian major empire of antiquity.
Circulation coin - silver
Condition: SS / very fine
Minting period 591-628 AD.
The obverse shows the bust of the Sassanid king Chorsau ||.
surrounded by inscriptions in Persian script.
On the reverse there is an altar between two standing figures. (Guards)
The motif is framed by inscriptions in Persian. The left inscription shows the year and the right inscription the mint.
Form: Round
Material: Silver
Weight: 3 g - 5 g
Total: three coins: 13 g
Diameter: 30 mm
Finding/condition - original
The coins come from a private collection, purchased in the 1960s in Germany.
Purchased by me in 2022
