Description from the seller
Sales Offer – Natural Australian Gold Nugget – 0.657 g – 23–24 Carat
For sale is a real, untreated gold nugget from Australia.
The nugget comes from the renowned Kalgoorlie–Boulder gold region, Western Australia. It was mined through manual prospecting, without the use of chemical or environmentally harmful substances. The extraction was achieved exclusively through mechanical separation and water washing. It is an unprocessed, unmelted natural gold nugget.
You will receive exactly the gold nugget shown in the photos.
Australian gold – especially from the Kalgoorlie region – is among the purest natural gold deposits worldwide. The fineness is typically about 23–24 carats, corresponding to a gold content of approximately 96–99%. Slight natural inclusions, such as minimal quartz portions, may be present and are a typical feature of genuine natural gold.
A gold nugget is a naturally formed piece of gold that has been released from its original rock over millions of years through geological processes such as weathering, erosion, and natural currents. Such conditions only occur under very rare and favorable geological circumstances. Less than 1% of gold found worldwide is in nugget form, giving natural nuggets a special rarity and collector value.
In contrast to melted gold (e.g., bars or jewelry), natural gold nuggets are not valued solely by their fine gold content. Due to their natural shape, rarity, and uniqueness, genuine nuggets are often traded above the current gold spot price.
